1. Product Information

Ingredients: 100% Welsh beef, Halen Môn salt and our secret vinegar-based marinade solution and spice mix (including Worchester sauce - BARLEY, FISH).

Allergens: Please see ingredients in bold. Product may contain traces of NUTS. Please contact us if you have specific dietary requirements.

Storage and Care: Your Biltong will arrive Ready-to-eat, packaged in a protective atmosphere to ensure maximum freshness and quality. Once opened please allow the Biltong to breathe for 10-20 minutes for maximum flavor. Store in a cool dry place and consume within 3 days of opening.

Availability of products: We will make efforts to ensure that all products are available, if an item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible to offer you an alternative or a refund, for this reason, it is important that we receive the correct email and/or phone number.

2. Payment

All payments are in UK pounds (£) sterling via PayPal.

3. Shipment

We aim to dispatch orders within 3-5 working days, any delays will be communicated clearly. Delivery is next working days from dispatch. Deliveries within the United Kingdom (UK) will be made by Royal Mail and/or Courier service to the address stipulated on your invoice. If you know you will not be in, please follow instructions on the Royal Mail and/or Courier card that will be posted through the door and collect from your local depot or rearrange delivery.

We do not routinely ship internationally. Please contact us at RedBeardBiltong@gmail.com prior to placing your order to discuss shipment.

Delivery charges are based on delivery in UK mainland, and free shipping is provided on orders over £50.00. Shipping cost are based on weight (product + packaging):

50g to 200g = £2.00 500g to 1kg = £4.00

Free collection (and possible delivery) is potentially available within the Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales) area. Please contact us prior to placing your order to enquire.

Please note that although every effort will be made to deliver our product as ordered we cannot accept responsibility for delays due to circumstances beyond our control and will not accept liability for direct or consequential loss or damage arising from delay in delivery beyond our control, or where incorrect shipping details were provided. We will not be responsible for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when you began using the website or when a contract for the sale of goods from us to you was formed.

4. Custom Orders & Special Requests

5. Refunds & Returns

We endeavour at all times to ensure our product are of the highest standard. In the unlikely event that you are unsatisfied with our product please notify us by email within 24 hours of receipt of your order, giving full details of the condition of our product, its packaging and your complaint. Please note that we may require a return of the product for our documentation to qualify for further investigation. All complaints will be dealt with on merit, and refunds will be made at our discretion. We will endeavour to resolve any complaint within 14 working days.

Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. Claims and complaints made after 24 hours of receipt of the product will not be entertained. No refund will be given for any product ordered in error by the customer, and no refund will be given for any losses due to the incorrect storage and/or use of the product by the customer.

Acceptance of cancellation of an order shall be at our discretion, and any such acceptance may be subject to payment by the buyer of a cancellation charge, representing the administrative costs involved. In certain instances where we have spent considerable effort in obtaining goods specially requested for by the customer, we may not allow cancellation of such order.

6. Privacy

We are committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of our customers and visitors, and we will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. The contact and/or payment information collected from customers will only be used for billing and administration purposes and will be kept confidential. No data will be passed onto third parties. When you place an order through our site we will maintain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. In accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access any information that we hold relating to you. Red Beard Biltong offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. By visiting our site and/or purchasing our product, you engage in our ‘service’ and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including those additional terms and conditions stated above. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms of service by posting updates and/or making changes to our website.
